About this Blog

Born in the early 1930s, Don and Maureen Cahill grew up through the Depression and World War II years, in New York City. Married in the early 50s, they raised 10 children. Don taught high school math and science, then went into administration.  He developed software to enable Special Educators to build personalized Individual Educational Programs for students.  Meanwhile, Mo developed her love of the arts to work in theater programs-- community and academic.  They have enjoyed wonderful friendships and seen amazing changes in their lifetimes.  This blog began with their reminiscences, and is intended to share their reflections--and perhaps spark others' contributions.
